Much of my time over the past year has been spent on creating team-specific co-branded credit-card rewards programs for seven baseball teams (with more to come) and helping the Boy Scouts of America create their own co-branded credit card. Before that, I helped a mid-sized bank build a business plan (complete with P&L and account plan) that enabled it to re-enter the credit-card market. I’ve built a database for a client that will enable it to reach out to new prospects so it can expand an already profitable business line. And I have provided advice to a major sports organization on negotiating endorsement contracts with its U.S. and Canadian bank partners; reviewed its marketing inventory and distribution channel strategies; and created a card account plan and business plan that will enable it to deepen its fan relationships.
